Our Dorks are having as much fun with this Seahawks team as they were with this year's Mariners team. Daniel gets things started praising Shane Waldron's dark arts. The rest of the Dorks are in agreement--this Seahawks defense is nasty and only getting nastier. Millie bets against our Seahawks in the game in Arizona but not for the reasons you think. Our Dorks breakdown the first half of the season and revise some season predictions. Spoiler alert: They're fully on board the bandwagon. Lastly Daniel urges you to vote, Millie is all in on Netflix's "Cabinet of Curiosities", Allanah is in deep with the NXIVM cult true crime series "The Vow" on HBO, and Curtis has some things to say about Big Foot. Seahawks/Chargers Recap, Giant Killers, Player Connection Corner, Spooky Dorking

Daniel starts things off with a recap of the Seahawks dominance over the Chargers this past Sunday. Our Dorks breakdown the keys to the next game vs. the New York Giants and give their predictions. Allanah compares these Seahawks players to the current Mariners team and the rest of the Dorks dork out about who their favorite players are on this Seahawks squad. Our Dorks get into the Halloween spirit. Millie dorks out about the movie "Secret Headquarters" she caught on her flight home, Allanah doesn't do spooky season but is enamored with CBS's "Ghosts", Daniel IS in the Halloween spirit and is nostalgic for cheesy 80's B-movie horror flicks, and Curtis just wants lightsabers, Wookies, and Space Wizards back in his Star Wars. Our Dorks open the podcast dorking out about the epic 18th inning postseason game against the hated Astros. They compare this Mariners team to the 2012 Seahawks, talk about what is ahead for this team, what the expectations are, and who on the team will lead them to the promised land. They then give credit to the Seahawks defense for making some improvements in their 19-9 win against the Arizona Cardinals. After they give their predictions for week 7 at the Los Angels Chargers they get into some dorking. Daniel and Millie agree that only actual spooky scary movies belong on Halloween--take your sad, sentimental movies disguised as horror and get out of here! Allanah dorks out about trans themed episodes on Last Week Tonight and The Problem with Jon Stewart, Daniel confronts the patriarchy, and Curtis finishes Amazon Prime's "The Rings of Power." Happy birthday, Curtis! The Dorks start the podcast recapping the Seahawks game in New Orleans. They continue to be impressed with Geno Smith's Pro Bowl level play and compliment the team on at least being entertaining to watch. They discuss the jubilation of a 9th inning go ahead run to win to sweep Toronto in the Wild Card round contrasted with the depths of despair when they lose a game by a walk off home run by Houston. Curtis talks about his experience being on the Seahawks documentary series "The Sound" and the Dorks discuss the importance of culture on a team. Millie is on vacation so the Dorks welcome special guest and noted Saints fan Steven Stern to the podcast. Curtis gushes about Geno's big day against Detroit and his historic play through the first quarter of the season. Steven talks about the origin of his Saints fandom and the Dorks get into what makes sports so special. They make their predictions for the Seahawks/Saints matchup. Daniel doesn't know how to process relevant baseball in October but the Dorks agree that we'll be seeing a lot more of it in the future. Allanah dorks out about The History of the Seattle Mariners on Dorktown's YouTube channel, Curtis is knee deep in the Rings of Power on Amazon Prime, Daniel finally finished Reservation Dogs, and Steven can't wait for the Kraken to start up again (but don't get him started on new mascot Buoy). They then talk about the Mariners magical season and what their favorite moments have been this summer. Sue Bird gets a fond farewell from her number 1 Dorks and they end the show with a quick dorkening.
